This geometry is directly inspired by the \u003cem\u003eChaîne d'ancre\u003c\/em\u003e bracelet, a motif imagined by Robert Dumas in 1938 during a stay on the Normandy coast and since become one of the \u003cem\u003emaison\u003c\/em\u003e's defining emblems. The Nantucket transposes this maritime origin into watchmaking: the anchor chain shapes the silhouette, and the very typography of the numerals carries its imprint.
