Article 2 – Scope and Nature of Products (Vintage Watches)

These T&Cs apply to all sales of vintage watches and accessories concluded between the Seller and the Buyer.

TIMEPROOF specializes in the sourcing, expertise, and sale of collectible vintage watches. Each piece is carefully selected for its authenticity, horological significance, and overall condition.

The Buyer acknowledges that they are purchasing a pre-owned vintage item, which may be several decades old, and which inherently includes signs of age, history, and prior use.

Vintage watches sold on TIMEPROOF may have been worn, serviced, or restored during their lifetime. Certain components may have been replaced. As a result, performance characteristics (including but not limited to accuracy, water resistance, and power reserve) may differ from modern standards.

The following do not constitute defects:

  • Natural dial patina or aging
  • Minor scratches or signs of wear
  • Reasonable variations in timekeeping consistent with vintage watches

Product photographs and detailed descriptions form an integral part of the contract and define the conformity of the product.

The Buyer expressly agrees to purchase the watch as presented and “as is”, without prejudice to applicable legal warranties.

TIMEPROOF guarantees the authenticity of all watches sold. However, due to their age:

  • Certain components may not be original
  • Original accessories (box, papers) may not always be available

TIMEPROOF makes every effort to provide accurate descriptions based on the information available at the time of listing but does not guarantee absolute completeness.

Article 3 – Prices and Pricing Conditions

All prices are displayed in euros (€) and include all applicable taxes (TTC), excluding shipping costs within the European Union.

For orders shipped outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes, and local charges are the sole responsibility of the Buyer.

TIMEPROOF reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. Prices applicable to an order are those confirmed at the time of purchase.

within 14 days after receipt and inspection of the returned item.

Refunds will be issued using the original payment method.
